sudo: npm: command not found on Centos

You want to install some npm packages and it’s require sudo permission but you’re getting error : “sudo: npm: command not found” then you’ve to create some soft link.

Problem: sudo: npm: command not found

sudo npm install pm2 -g


Solution:

sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/node /usr/bin/node
sudo ln -s /usr/local/lib/node /usr/lib/node
sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/npm /usr/bin/npm
sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/node-waf /usr/bin/node-waf
