scp command is used to securely copy files from one linux server to another. scp stands for secure copy and its use ssh(secure socket shell) so the files is encrypted before it send to another server.
for example you have two server 220.127.116.11 and 18.104.22.168 and you want to transfer a file named “hadoop-core.xml” from 22.214.171.124 Desktop to 126.96.36.199 Desktop. Type the following commands in terminal
scp 188.8.131.52:root/Desktop/hadoop-core.xml 184.108.40.206:root/Desktop/
